Each tulip's DNA, a 69-digit string, dictates genetic features like colors, bloom types, and physical orientation, as well as genetic predispositions like breaking viruses and real-world influences. Tulips are represented as botanical art, whose style can also vary from piece to piece.
Importantly, a tulip's name is not encoded in its DNA. Rather, tulips are assigned names by the Texel Horticultural Society according to their traits and lineage at minting time. Since these demo tulips aren't being minted on the blockchain, they have no officially given names—however, example names that are appropriate for their traits have been suggested.
